Food Glorious Food

Hello and welcome to the newest edition of my favorite topic - food. Yeah, that's me over there, eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and dried seaweed, and drinking milk. Seems typical, no? Well last night Gama and Gompee (grandma and grandpa) took me out for my very first Thai meal! On the way to their house I had an appetizer of a banana, some of that delicious dried seaweed, pretzel crackers, and milk. Momma wasn't sure if I'd like the Thai food (silly momma) so she packed me some leftover chicken parmesan, which I ate with gusto. At the restaurant, I was ready and willing to try anything! I ate seaweed salad, lettuce with carrot ginger dressing, teriyaki noodles, brown rice, and lots of ice chips (my current fave). Thai rocks! Pass the Perrier please.

I Love Orlando!

We had such a fun time in Orlando at Leesie's house. I went swimming in a lazy river, played with lots of friends and family, and attended my second Passover seder. I loved the charoset! Leesie even let me help clean the house. How lucky for mama and dada that I am learning these skills! I also tried to teach Ethan how to use my new Sesame Street construction table, but all he wanted to do was eat the pieces. He was enjoying them so much that I tried them too. Yuck. Pass the mac n cheese please!

My First Museum & Movie!

We had so much fun this weekend at the Fort Lauderdale Science and Discovery Museum! We saw lots of animals (I pet a snake and a starfish), played with really fun exhibits, and I also saw my first movie - a 3D IMAX called "Under the Sea". I kept trying to reach out and touch all the fish! I only got scared a few times, and I kept my 3D glasses on almost the whole time!

Flores Family Dinner!

We had great fun last night when the Flores men came to town from Mexico and Boston. I got to hang out with Uncle Jorge, and met my Great Uncles and cousin for the first time! We toasted their arrival with champagne (milk), played golf with my Snoopy clubs, and ate another delicious meal from Grandma (they were very impressed with my famous appetite)!

Fun in the Sun Weekend!

Wow! What a fun weekend! On Friday we had a picnic with Louis (yummy pizza!), and then we went to the Miami Zoo on Saturday. I got to pet animals, play in a sprinkler park, and ride a big bike with Mama and Dada. And then, Dada took me in my little pool on Sunday. I was so tired by the end of the weekend!

I love bath time!

Bath time is where I first learned to say "Please" and "Thank you!" I love playing with my pails, toy boat, rubber duckie, and cow...but I sure don't like getting my hair washed!

Fun at the Baby & Family Expo

We had so much fun this weekend! I rode on cool toys, won a pair of groovy shades, and got to try some yummy baby gummy bears.

I love to read!

Reading is one of my very favorite activities! I can even say "book" now! I am also doing even better with "please" and "thank you," but now I've started to say "Mine!" which was shocking to Mama and Dada. Time to learn sharing!
